Kodak Black Honors Parkland Shooting Victims With $100K Scholarship

US-MTV-AWARDS-RED CARPET

Over the weekend, Kodak Black attended an event in Parkland, Florida commemorating the third anniversary of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting.

In that event, the Florida rapper announced his new $100,000 scholarship to honor the lives we tragically lost on February 14, 2018.

“They young and none of them ain’t deserve this,”Kodak told the audience at the event. “They wasn’t in this life to be killed like a thug.”

Kodak also dedicated the scholarship to one of the victims by the name of Meadow Pollack, who was also a big fan of his. “Meadow Pollack, she’s so beautiful, but the situation is bigger than Meadow Pollack,” he continued.“It’s about all of us; it’s about all the other kids. It’s about the whole school. It’s about all of Broward [County].”

Kodak finished off by saying: “I’m gonna help and I hope me setting up this scholarship will make a difference for something. I just want to make a positive impact for this community."

The $100,000 scholarship will be set up for the criminal justice program at the Florida Law School.
