Three grand jurors in the Breonna Taylor case filed a petition with the state House of Representatives, objecting to the conduct of Attorney General Daniel Cameron and calling for his impeachment.
The petition's allegations against Attorney General Daniel Cameron include breach of public trust and failure to comply with his duties as the state's chief law enforcement official.
Which include breach of public trust and failure to comply with duties for misrepresenting to the nation the findings of the Grand Jury. In addition, abuse of office and breach of duties of professional responsibility and ethics. Both are connected to the lack of charges filed against the Louisville Metropolitan Police Department officers implicated in Breonna Taylor's death in September 2020.
The grand jurors do not accuse him of any crimes, and impeachment is not considered a criminal proceeding.
