Eugene Goodman, the Capitol Police officer who led rioters away from the Senate chamber on January 6, escorted Vice President-elect Kamala Harris at the inauguration on Wednesday.
If you recall, Goodman went viral earlier this month after a video showed him leading a pro-Trump mob away from the Senate floor during the riot at the U.S. Capitol, which saved hundreds of lives.
Social media was on a buzz all day today when they realized Goodman has the honor to do so. Multiple users quickly took to Twitter to share their excitement.
