Three men are now facing charges after shooting up a strip club in Anaheim, California for refusing to wear a mask.
Edgar Nava-Ayala, Daniel Juvenal Ocampo, and Juan Jose Acosta-Soto were all kicked out from Sahara Theater on Halloween night. However, they returned to the Sahara in a red Toyota Camry. Nava-Ayala allegedly fired about 15 rounds from an AK-47 semiautomatic rifle “indiscriminately” into the club, according to statements from the Orange County District Attorney’s Office and the Anaheim Police Department.
“The suspects were kicked out for refusing to wear masks,” police Sgt. Shane Carringer said. “They returned and fired on the club in retaliation of being kicked out.”
At least four people were injured, and one had to undergo surgery because of bullet wounds in the upper body, the District Attorney’s Office reports.
