Lil Yachty is standing up for those who can't.
TMZ recently caught up with the "Lil Boat 2" rapper at LAX, where they asked him about Trevor Wilkinson, a 17-year-old student at Clyde High School in Texas, who was suspended for wearing nail polish in school.
When asked how he felt about Wilkinson being punished for expressing himself with nail polish, Yachty said, "Why do we still have barriers?." He continued, "If somebody wants to express themselves and it's not harming anyone or bringing anybody down they should be allowed to do so. I don't really see the purpose."
In that same interview, Yachty also revealed he's been working on his own line of polish. "I've been in development working on my own nail paint, it's called Cree," he said.
