On this date in 1993, Snoop Dogg released his first album Doggystyle on Death Row Records.
Doggystyle, which was produced exclusively by Dr. Dre, huddled around the concept of the âdoggâ, with the animated cover and cartoon insert of a street-wise hound that wanted by the opps and the âbitchesâ for his âdoggystyleâ, which of course, is a famous sex position.
Some of the albumâs leading tracks include âIt Ainât No Fun(If The Homies Canât Have None)â featuring Nate Dogg, Daz and Kurupt, the Slick Rick ode âLodi Dodiâ and the world-famous alcoholic anthem âGin And Juiceâ.
