Drake Responds to Being Called a Culture Vulture

Drake is currently in the U.K on tour but he stopped by to co-host the U.K's BBC Radio's 1XtraRap Show.

In the interview, Dreezy addressed the theories that he intentionally changed his accent since entering the game. He confirmed the speculation, stating, "I felt this pressure to be American, sound American" at the start of his career. Now that he's put Toronto on the map, Drake said he's more comfortable speaking in his natural accent.

He also addressed those who have called him a "culture vulture" because he's shown support for up-and-coming artists overseas.

"'Oh that's some culture vulture..', I don't know what that means," he said. "I'll never understand how supporting somebody's song or giving someone a song isn't admirable. I had to get that off my chest."
