We’re coming up on a year since 03 Greedo turned himself in to begin his prison sentence in Amarillo, TX.
His incarceration came the same year his rap career took off, an unfortunate truth that is not lost on Greedo. While he’s away he promised to release new music and check in with his fans when it’s possible, and today, the latter is.
#LettersToGreedo is a social media initiative with a mission to connect fans with 03 Greedo, who is currently serving a20 yearincarceration sentence in Texas. The campaign focuses on two tiers: posting on social media using the hashtag #letterstogreedo, and leaving a voicemail at (432) 216-2294, both of which will ultimately live on the website.
The main objective is to give fans the opportunity to connect with Greedo in a new and exciting way – allowing them to digitally “share a letter to Greedo” while he’s serving his time. The website is where all the social media posts and voicemails left for Greedo will populate, and it will serve as a medium for Greedo to read, listen, and reply to his messages and fans directly.
