Tupac's Estate Settles Lawsuit With Death Row Records To Drop New Music

It was recently announced that at least two unreleased albums worth of music from Tupac Shakur is set to be released after a recent lawsuit settlement between Shakur's estate and Death Row Records.

According to Fader, back in 2013, Tupac's mother Afeni Shakur filed a $1.1 million lawsuit against Canadian company Entertainment One, who bought Death Row, for owed royalties.

As of today, Tupac's estate will receive a collection of the rapper's unreleased music as part of the settlement. The amount of music that’s being handed over is enough for "two, and possibly three" new albums.

His estate hopes to release the music soon.
