According to author Dr. Carmen Harra, when you decorate for the holidays can reveal several things about your personality!
For example....if you start decorating before November, you enjoy planning and executing way ahead of schedule, which means you're well organized and also want to avoid the holiday rush. (I mean....duh.) If you decorate November or early December, it means you look forward to the holidays and are generally optimistic about them; and like doing things the "proper" way.
If you like decorating the week before Christmas, you're supposedly less optimistic about the holidays and want to see them come and go, as they don't hold the same meaning they once might have as they did in childhood.
Take this all with a grain of salt- that's my opinion. I think some years you may be more prepared, and some years you're just trying to get through the day! Decorate as you see fit. :)
