Jay-Z recently sat down with Kevin Hart for the second season of his show, Hart to Heart, where they sat and spoke about the future of his music career and if he considers himself to be retired. Jay-Z also spoke about his first attempt at trying to retire after he released The Black Album.
Kevin straight up asked Jay-Z if he was retired, Jay jokingly responded with, “Nah, I tried that," talking about his 2003 project, The Black Album, which was billed as Jay-Z's final record before retirement.
