Unfortunately, Dunkin' doesn't donate their food or even give it away to customers. Instead, an employee says they are actually instructed to throw everything away.
A Dunkin’ employee by the name of Bryan Johnston uses his TikTok platform to show off the day in the life of a Dunkin’ worker. Some of his viral videos show him throwing away more than 300 perfectly edible donuts right before closing.
“We throw out so much food at the end of the day,” Johnston said in one video. “I do get to bring some [donuts] home if I want to, but this is just the routine I have to follow.”
