A woman was denied her flight when they realized she was trying to bring a literal peacock onto the plane. The Washington Post reports that United Airlines denied a woman's service animal, Dexter, to come onboard at Newark International Airport since he "did not meet guidelines for a number of reasons, including its weight and size."

"@kumathedestructor took this great shot of me at #newarkairport today," a post on the bird's IG read. "Spent 6 hours trying to get on my flight to LA ๐ค๐ฃ (after following all required protocol) Tomorrow my human friends are going to drive me cross country! Keep an ๐out for us! ๐ #bestroadtripbuddy #dexterthepeacock."
Apparently, the airline had explained to her 3 separate times that they wouldn't let her on the plane with the bird before she got to the airport, but she must've... forgotten?
