The Camera Used To Film Rodney King LAPD Beating Is Up For Auction

The camera which captured the brutal beating of the late Rodney King by the LAPD on March 3, 1991, is up for auction.

According toTMZ, the starting bid for the Sony Video8 Handycam CCD-F77 is set at $225K.

George Holliday, the camera’s original owner said, "I hope this video camera inspires people to use their power to record events that they find troubling. Don’t be afraid to use it."
