Orange County's health department announced that bars must close at midnight ahead of the 4th of July weekend in response to an increase in the number of coronavirus cases and hospitalizations.
The agency tweeted the move which will affect bars that do not offer dine-in meals. The closures will go into effect Thursday at 12:01 a.m. and continue until further notice.
As for bars, pubs, breweries, & brewpubs that offer dine-in and sit-down meals, alcohol will be allowed to be sold in the same transaction as a meal.
