Jay-Z, Alicia Keys, Meek Mill and Yo Gotti signed a letter in conjunction with Roc Nation calling on Georgia officials to take swift action in the case of Ahmaud Arbery.
In a letter to Georgia officials, JAY-Z is asking that the "great state of Georgia" ensures that a fair trial is conducted thus leading to the appropriate felony convictions of both McMichaels.
Additionally the letter asks that District Attorney Tom Durden be recused from the case over a conflict of interest, since Gregory McMichael was a former police officer.
Attorney General Christopher Carr is also urged to appoint a special prosecutor so a fair trial can be achieved. In addition, the letter demands that a third man who filmed the shooting be charged as an accomplice.
