On Saturday night, Meek Mill posted a video of him being stopped and denied entry into the Cosmopolitan Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas.
He was told (before he even got out of the car) that if he got out of the car he would be arrested and locked up by police.
When he asked why he was being denied, security responded that they didn't know why.
According to TMZ, Meek's lawyer, Joe Tacopina wrote a letter to the hotel demanding an apology and if they did not receive one they would take legal action.
The letter read in part that they have learned, "the Cosmopolitan maintains a list of African American recording artists who should be denied access for no other reason than their culture and skin color."
Now Tacopina, revealed to TMZ, that he will ask for "heavy monetary damages" for "lying and humiliating Meek," adding, "I'm going to take this place down because of what they did."
The video has since been viewed over 1 million times on Meek's Instagram page.
