Nipsey Hussle recently sat down with Billboard to talk about some facts about himself for a video series called "You Should Know."
Hussle talked about growing up in the Crenshaw District of L.A. and being heavily influenced by "everything Death Row" including, Tupac, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, Tha Dogg Pound and Warren G.
The 33-year-old rapper also revealed that the Hussle part of his name was given to him initially as a joke. “It was just a joke somebody said in the studio one day cause I came in, had the weed, I had some chicken for everybody. I feed the whole studio. Smoked everybody out and I was the youngest in the crew…I identify myself as a hustler since I was a young kid. So, I felt like it made sense. It had a little ring to it.”
Nipsey also talks about being a Goo Goo Dolls fan!
