Could Colin Kaepernick be close to a return to the NFL?
He might be if you read into recent comments from his attorney. Mark Geragos tells TMZ that there might be some "big news" regarding Kaepernick and two teams that he reports have interest in the free agent quarterback.
When asked if Kap would sign with the Dolphins, Geragos responded: “I wouldn’t say join the Dolphins. I’ve got two other teams that will remain nameless,” he said. “I’ll just say this — if Al Davis was still alive.”
Kaepernick's attorney also hinted that the Patriots could be interested in signing his client.
