A Michigan woman has been fired after police determined she baked laxative into brownies that were going to be served at work during a colleague's going away party.
Police in Saline, Michigan confiscated the brownies after another employee tipped them off. No one ate the brownies. Other employees said the colleague who was leaving and the woman who baked the brownies may have had some beef.
The woman initially denied putting laxative in the snacks but when she found out investigators would test them, she confessed.
The unidentified 47-year-old baker was fired from the engineering firm but she wasn't charged with a crime since no one ate the tainted brownies.
