USDA Recalls More Than 7,000 Pounds of Un-Inspected, High-Risk Beef

You'd better check your fridge or freezer now that a Texas meat packer has recalled thousands of pounds of beef.

Texas Meat Packers says it is recalling more than 7,000 pounds of beef products intended to be used to make tacos and fajitas.

The four categories of meat items were packed and shipped without undergoing federal inspection on March 23rd and 24th and were distributed in Alabama, Indiana, Louisiana, Missouri, Oklahoma, Texas, and Wisconsin.

The products subject to recall have the establishment number “EST. 34715” inside the USDA mark of inspection.

Officials say if you have purchased these products, do not consume them, just throw them away or return them to the place of purchase.
