Jay-Z's docuseries on the Trayvon Martin story will make its debut at this year's Tribeca Film Festival. The 48-year-old Brooklyn rapper is the executive producer on the project.
Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story is a six-part series will offer a "definitive look at one of the most talked about, controversial events of the last decade."
The series is based loosely on the book Rest In Power: The Enduring Life of Trayvon Martin written by Trayvon's parents.
The festival takes place April 18-29 but the screening for Rest In Power: The Trayvon Martin Story will be on April 20th at MCC Tribeca Performing Arts in New York City.
