Early Thursday afternoon (July 20th), O.J. Simpson was granted parole and will be released from Lovelock Correctional Center as soon as October.
Nevada's Board of Parole Commissioners decided after half an hour of deliberation.
According to TMZ, "No one testified against O.J. at the hearing ... and Bruce Fromong, one of the victims in the armed robbery, testified supporting O.J.'s release. O.J. said Bruce has already accepted his apology."
O.J. will also be allowed to smoke weed and drink alcohol upon his release. The conditions allow him to "consume alcoholic beverages but not to excess." He can only smoke marijuana if he has a medical prescription for it.
Pretty sweet deal!
