Your Steering Wheel Is Filled With Germs

Here is something that will make you jump to wash your car today after putting it off for a while because according to Jalopnik, your steering wheel is a big source of germs and if we know anything about this time of year, it's about sanitizing and cleaning as much as possible!

This study comes from CarRentals.com and they found that about 700 strains of bacteria/germs in the steering wheels. Yes, 700! 

"Eating in your car is the way to get the bacteria machine rolling even faster than it already does, the study said, and, apparently, eating in a car is more likely to make you sick than eating off of a toilet seat."

And it's not just your steering wheel - your cupholder, seat belt, inside/outside door handles, shifter, temperature buttons, and your volume buttons are all filled of germs too. Your car is a bacteria's dream destination. 

So like I said, time to FINALLY clean that car of yours and do it often! Or just buy a hazmat suit to wear every time you get in the car! Hahaha
