There Could Be Thousands Of Bugs In Your Real Christmas Trees

Here is something you DIDN'T want to know this holiday season - apparently according to ABC15, there are thousands of bugs - like about 25,000 bugs - in your real Christmas tree that you are bringing into your house! 

"Researchers say the bugs are not dangerous and very small. They suggest checking for eggs on trees before choosing one to take home."

Here are some tips about how to pick a tree without bugs from the Las Vegas Fire & Rescue:

"They suggest picking a tree with fresh needles, not placing trees near a heat source, daily watering and turning off lights when not at home or asleep."
