A Chicken & A Cat Stuck Together During A Deadly Fire

We have been hearing a lot about the fires going on currently in California where hundreds of people have lost their homes, some have lost their lives, and the blaze continues to grow. 

One of the fires currently going on has been called the Carr fire in Northern California that claimed the lives of 6 people and has become "one of the most dangerous fires in the state's history." This time, there is a story that kind of gives you a break on the grief like this one with a cat and a chicken who became buddies during the fire. They looked out for each other during the blaze. 

"In the doorway of a home, they found a cat and a chicken huddled together for safety and support. The animals had survived one of the most destructive fires in memory, finding comfort in each other in the doorway of a home."

They are both also expected to make full recoveries and hopefully they can become friends for life!
