Twitter is working on two new features but one is already being met with opposition.
Have you tried to follow a Twitter conversation and found it to be too much? Twitter is working on making that easier for you with a feature they call "threaded." It would make following a conversation easier than the current embed and click-through method.
The other feature is the one people do not seem to like, a "presence" feature. This would let people know when you are on Twitter. People in the test group requested an opt-in for this feature citing privacy concerns.
No date has been given for when the two new features will be available to the public.
