Michelle Williams checked herself into a mental facility for depression. According to TMZ, the Destiny’s Child singer has been at a clinic outside of L.A. for a few days getting treatment.
In a statement released Tuesday, Michelle said, "For years I have dedicated myself to increasing awareness of mental health and empowering people to recognize when it's time to seek help, support and guidance from those that love and care for your well-being." She added, "Today I proudly, happily and healthily st and here as someone who will continue to always lead by example as I tirelessly advocate for the betterment of those in need."
Michelle has been open about her struggle with depression in the past.
