Could a rising sex disease become the "next superbug?"
It's called MG which is short for Mycoplasma Genitalium. The disease shows few or no symptoms at all but it could cause pelvic inflammatory disease and infertility in women. It can also cause uncomfortable urination and discharge in men.
The British Association of Sexual Health and HIV is sounding the warning alarms about the rise in MG. It can be misdiagnosed and it it's not treated, it could develop into a superbug.
