A 92-year-old woman was arrested in Arizona Monday (July 2) after she shot and killed her own 72-year-old son because he had been thinking about putting her into a nursing home.
She then turned the gun on his girlfriend, who was able to fight the gun away. According to police documents, as the woman exited the scene she said, "You took my life, so I'm taking yours."When asked what she thought should be her punishment she replied that she should be "put to sleep".
