Yale University has become the latest institution to revoke an honorary degree from Bill Cosby. This is the first time Yale has ever done this in their over 300 year history. The school's board of trustees made the decision to rescind the honor awarded to Cosby in 2003 based on his recent criminal conviction on aggravated indecent assault charges.
Yale joins a growing list of colleges who have stripped degrees from Cosby. Carnegie Mellon and Notre Dame pulled their honorary degrees from him hours after his conviction. Other schools revoked degrees years ago as evidence of Cosby's misconduct piled up.
