More and more companies are "mellowing out" on pot smokers and no longer testing prospective employees for marijuana.
Why?
Because too many of them would test positive! Employers say screening for marijuana takes too many potential workers out of the pool. One drug tester says an employer told him he "can't staff the third shift and test for marijuana".
This doesn't mean you should just light up a joint during your job interview. Instead, experts say marijuana use will become a don't-ask-don't-tell subject for employers.
