A few months back super producer Swizz Beatz challenged fellow producer and DJ Just Blaze in an epic battle of the beats for a crowd of hip hop heads, artists and industry insiders for cultural bragging rights.
This was a defining moment because in hip hop we often see battles amongst artists, but never between producers. Two culturally defining producers at that. After winning over the crowd with unreleased music featuring Jay-Z & Nas, Swizz challenged yet another legend...Timbaland who immediately responded via IG where a nice back and forth ensued between the two.
No word on whether this will continue or if was the official battle but stay tuned!
