A new study broke headlines yesterday from Yokohoma National University in Japan claiming McDonald's fries might just grow hair follicles.
Researchers at the university did a test on mice using a chemical that can be found in McDonald's fries. According to USA Today, the study is predominantly focused on hair follicles to areas that contains no hair.
A source from the study states, "These self-sorted hair follicle germs were shown to be capable of efficient hair-follicle and shaft generation upon intracutaneous transplantation into the backs of nude mice," reads an excerpt from the study.
The chemical used is not only in McDonald's fries but also their chicken nuggets, and fish sandwiches.
