"We are not a joke"
That was the chant that was heard loud and clear from protesters at yesterday's Politcon conference in Pasadena.
To catch you up in speed, comedian Lil Duval stopped by 'The Breakfast Club' at our sister station Power 105.1. Duval was jokingly saying he if he found out a girl he was dating was transgender he would "Kill" them.
Now Although Charlamagne did not make those comments, the transgender community still felt he was to blame.
Janet Mock, who's a Transgender Activist and Author, visited the show few days before Duval to discuss her new book and her journey on becoming a transgender. She took to twitter to earlier and let it be known she's not here for Duval's comments or The Breakfast Club even allowing it.
In case you missed the interview with Lil Duval and 'The Breakfast Club' where he made these comments you can catch it below.
