Kendrick Lamar connected with a young fan at his Detroit concert.
A 9-year-old held up a sign that read: “My name is Kendrick. This is my first concert. Can we take a pic?”
Lamar acknowledged the young fan during the show and later wrote him a note which read: “Young Kendrick, thank you for coming,” he wrote. “I’m glad we got to exchange energy. You are special. Continue to manifest the great energy you possess!!! See you next time!!! Luv!!!”
Kendrick’s “Mr. Morale and the Big Steppers” Tour invokes feelings at every stop. Last month a security guard was overcome with emotion while Kendrick performed his hit, “Love.”
