Now, this is how you close out a show.

On Friday (September 17), Nelly took the stage at the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Festival in Las Vegas. The 'Ride Wit Me' artist was the final act of the show, ending night one of the festival in epic fashion by taking the audience on a journey through his many hit songs.

Nelly got the crowd going with tracks like 'E.I.,' 'Where The Party At,' and 'Air Force Ones,' before bringing out special guest Florida Georgia Line for 'Cruise' and 'Lil Bit.' As fans of Nelly's career, which spans many musical genres, know, 'Cruise' and 'Lil Bit' helped bring country music into his eclectic catalog.

Following the release of 'Lil Bit,' his second collaboration with Florida Georgia Line, Nelly opened up about how welcome he's felt in the country music community. "I've had a lot of great success in all formats of music, and country's been one that has accepted me and shown me a lot of love," he told Entertainment Tonight. "I get a chance to maybe tap a little bit more into that sound but bring my own Nelly flavor."

Now he's back with his "country-infused" album Heartland, his first full-length project in eight years. “My energy for this project comes from a place of showing my appreciation that the country world has shown Nelly since I’ve come into music, period,” he said.

While Nelly's entire catalog is certainly prolific, the crowd in Las Vegas went extra wild when Florida Georgia Line came out to perform their two collaborations. After Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley left the T-Mobile Arena stage, Nelly finished off his memorable set with 'High Horse,' 'Grillz,' 'Tipsy,' 'Hot In Here,' and 'Dilemma.'

Amid his high energy set, Nelly stopped to thank the fans who have been "rocking with him" since day one. For his final song, Nelly asked the crowd to raise their arms up in the air and sing along to 'Just a Dream.'

If you missed any of the action this weekend, you can relive the 2021 iHeartRadio Music Festival by tuning in to The CW Network on Saturday, October 2nd and Sunday, October 3rd from 8-10pm ET/PT for a two-night television special.
