Paris Jackson Says The Paparazzi Took A Toll On Her Mental Health

Paris Jackson; the daughter of Michael Jackson is sharing her truth. 

Being born in the limelight of fame she came on Facebook’s Red Table Talk to discuss her mental health issues. In the interview, she explains the hallucinations and paranoia she’s faced because of the effects of the paparazzi, which caused her to seek help. 

Jackson stated, “I experience auditory hallucinations sometimes with camera clicks and severe paranoia and have been going to therapy for a lot of things but that included.” She also said “I’ll hear a trash bag rustling and flinch in panic.” 

Furthermore, she mentions the hardships with some of her family members not supporting her of her sexuality. However her brothers Prince and Prince Michael II, and family friend Omer Bhatti have been “super-supportive” of her bisexuality. Even mentioning that Prince joined an LGBTQ+ club at school. 

In the end, Jackson and Smith discuss their first time meeting on the set of Jada Pinkett Smith’s TV show Hawthorne, and how they can relate with each other on growing up in the industry. Jackson shared a post of her and Willow calling her, her “cosmic sister”. Paris’s episode of Red Table Talk airs on Wednesday at 12 p.m. ET on Facebook Watch.
