During a recent interview with the Los Angeles Times, Lauren London got candid about rebuilding after losing the "love of her life," Nispey Hussle.
āI think when really hard things happen to people itās just hard to think that life will ever be sweet again,ā London said during the interview. āSo thatās something that Iām learning again, is how to do that.ā
āI lost what I would say is the love of my life. ā¦ So I had to go so deep within myself. I was so in a dark space and it was just like, āWhat is this? Who am I? God, please show me,ā she continued.
"When youāre facing God face-on, youāre asking real questions and you want real answers. It wasnāt for play. I really wanted to know what was going on. So, I think it just has expanded because of my quest for peace.ā
The L.A. native also spoke aboutĀ how her and the Crenshaw rapper met back in 2013. Nip reportedly slid into her DM's and the rest was history.
āNipsey made the biggest joke that L.A. was my gang, that I bang L.A.,ā she said.
After losing Nipsey, London said she has spent her time focusing on her parenting and her spirituality.
