A Malian woman has given birth to nine babies, two more than the seven that ultrasounds had detected.
According to Mali's Minister of Health, the 25-year-old woman has five girls and four boys, whom are all doing well. She gave birth to the babies by c-section in Morocco after being sent there for special care. Associated Press says some of the babies have wiggled their hands and feet inside incubators already, which a great sign.
Since realizing she was pregnant, the woman says she was told she was expecting seven babies. However, clearly that wasn't the case.
In fact, it is now being reported by The Guinness Book of World Records that the woman has made history in Mali, Morocco. The current holder of the Guinness record is American Nadya Suleman, who gave birth to eight premature but otherwise healthy children in 2009.
To say the less, these nine babies are definitely a miracle.
