Barack Obama, Cardi B & More React To Guilty Verdict In Derek Chauvin Trial

After a two-week trial, former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin was convicted on all charges, after a jury found him guilty of second-degree unintentional murder, third-degree murder and second-degree manslaughter in the murder of George Floyd.

Chauvin, who kneeled on Floyd’s neck for over nine minutes in May 2020, now faces up to 40 years in prison.

Since verdict was served, activists to notable public figures like Barack Obama, Cardi B and others took to social media to express their thoughts and feelings.
