A lawsuit has now been settled after 4 years for the disastrous Fyre Festival that never happened. The Fyre Festival was going to be the biggest festival there has ever been on a private island. It was announced and produced by Billy McFarland and partnering with Ja Rule to include some of the biggest acts. The Festival was promoted by some of the biggest social media influencers and celebrities. People arrived and nothing was ready and prepared, some people paid up to 100k for packages that gave them exclusivity to be with celebs. It looked good but it was executed poorly and it was just a big rip off. Now we have 227 People that filed a class action lawsuit against the organizers to be receiving $7,200 each. I'm not sure how much some people paid and got ripped off but this could just be a piece of what they spent or more.
