Tiffany Haddish Turned Down Hosting A Pre Grammy Show & You Would Have too!

The Grammys will go down next month and in a recent interview with Variety, Tiffany revealed that she was asked to host the Grammy Pre-Show, HOWEVER they also told her that they wouldn't be able to pay her.

WHAT?!

They said she would have to pay for her own hair, make-up and wardrobe. I mean having to pay for all that AND not getting a check. Get out of here! The gig is a three-hour live-stream! It's an awesome gig, but that's a lot of work.

She said

“All of that would have to come out of my pocket,” she told the outlet. “I don’t know if this might mean I might not get nominated ever again, but I think it’s disrespectful.”

Tiffany received a nomination for Best Comedy Album for her special on Netflix - "Black Mitzvah"

"I was like, ‘The exposure is amazing but I think I have enough. I appreciate you guys asking,’” Haddish said. “And as much as I appreciate the honor of being nominated, that’s not okay.”

She added, “This is something that needs to be addressed. How many other people have they done that to? It’s like a guy asking you on a date but telling you that you have to pay for it.”
