Get ready for this to be the new normal, proving that you have a recent negative covid test! Well apparently black market negative tests are popping up and helping people get fake proof that they took a test and their results were negative.
According to reports these black markets have popped up across the globe. There was a group charging up to $360 for fake tests.
The scammers face up to five years in prison if convicted.
According to the New York Post
"In England, a man told a local newspaper that he was able to travel to Pakistan by using a friend’s negative COVID-19 test and changing his name."
All he had to do was download this email, change the name and print it.
Why did the guy do it? He said he needed to travel but wasn't an essential worker but he needed the negative test result to travel and couldn't get a regular covid test!
Apparently in certain parts of the world it's very hard to get a test.
