Eva Longoria Apologizes For Saying Latinas, Are The ‘Real Heroines’

Eva Longoria is apologizing for her comments on MSNBC.

While speaking about Latina voters Longoria insinuated that Latina voters were the “real heroines” of the 2020 election and that they beat men out in every state and they voted for Biden-Harris 3:1.

Backlash ensued and people felt Eva was disregarding the work of Black women.

Hours after her MSNBC interview Longoria released a statement saying in part, “...my comments on MSNBC could be perceived as taking credit from Black women. When I said that Latinas were heroines in this election, I simply meant that they turned out in greater numbers and voted more progressively than LATINO MEN."
