MLB Upset with Dodger Player Justin Turner - Announces Full Investigation!

World Series - Tampa Bay Rays v Los Angeles Dodgers - Game Six

The Dodgers winning the World Series last night was a bittersweet for Justin Turner!

Justin has been a huge part of the team for years and has done so much for the clubhouse and community. But it was announced just after the Dodgers won that Justin Turner tested positive for Covid-19 and had to be pulled from the game.

HOWEVER he was later seen celebrating with his teammates and holding the trophy!

Well now MLB is ripping hard into Justin saying he did not comply with the rules and put a lot of people at risk for the virus.

MLB says he was pulled during the 7th inning and then later "emphatically refused to comply" with the rules and returned to the field to celebrate with the team.

According to reports "MLB is now going hard at Turner for his conduct-- and announcing a full investigation."

MLB said in a statement

"Immediately upon receiving notice from the laboratory of a positive test, protocols were triggered, leading to the removal of Justin Turner from last night’s game," - "Turner was placed into isolation for the safety of those around him. However, following the Dodgers’ victory, it is clear that Turner chose to disregard the agreed-upon joint protocols and the instructions he was given regarding the safety and protection of others."

"While a desire to celebrate is understandable, Turner’s decision to leave isolation and enter the field was wrong and put everyone he came in contact with at risk. When MLB Security raised the matter of being on the field with Turner, he emphatically refused to comply."

Now as for the other players, everyone was tested last night and their results will determine when they can travel back home.
