So there is a new show on Quibi called "Murder House Flip" - the show brings in "team of designers, psychics, mediums and homicide detectives to families who live in homes where murders happened."
They recently flipped a house in Canoga Park where The Bernal Family moved in 19 years ago. Not long after being there they said they felt a dark presence. Then the Bernal Family found out that a 10-year-old child star Judith Barsi was brutally murdered by her father, Jozsef Barsi, in the very same house 13 years earlier. The Father also shot his wife and himself.
A Los Angeles Times article at the time also noted gasoline had been poured on the bodies.
Apparently there were cold spots in the house, the garage would open and close on it's own and one of the family members who slept in the same room as Judith would have horrible nightmares!
So during the show they fix up the house and change it up, one of the hosts said “Not only did Mikel and I make the homes beautiful, but we also gave them ownership of it,” - “It now belongs to them, versus the history that it holds. It’s a new space, and we’re really proud of it.”
