A childhood staple is hoping to show up on your television screen.
The Chuck E. Cheese mascot is making the move to movies and cartoons.
Chuck E. Cheese CEO David McKillips told Business Insider that due to the pandemic the company had to file for Chapter 11 Bankruptcy because unlike other restaurants, they weren’t able to provide carry-out or delivery options, they make most of their revenue with children’s birthday parties.
So Chuck-E-Cheese now has an entertainment division and the other mouse, will star in scripted entertainment shows but first, the company wants to focus on merchandising and toys.
