In the first ever Sotheby's Auction House auction dedicated to Hip Hop, Biggie's Iconic crown was up for sale!
The plastic crown that has jewels on it, is also signed by Biggie and the photographer who took the "King of New York" photo.
Before the auction they thought it would sell for $200k - $300k - But turns out, it went for SO MUCH MORE!!
The crown actually sold for $594,750, to be exact!!!! WOW!!
Obviously the crown is one of the most recognizable items in hip hop and it's signed by Biggie, but WOW that's a lot of money for a plastic crown!
