Autopsy Reveals Andres Guardado Was Shot 5 Times in the Back by LASD Deputy

Attorney's representing the family of Andres Guardado, a teenager that was killed in Gardena, California by a sheriff's deputy last month, have revealed that the findings of an independent autopsy show that Andres was shot five times in his back, resulting in his death. A preliminary toxicology report also showed that Andres did not have any drugs or alcohol in his system.

The family is continuing to ask for public help and support in demanding justice for Andres Guardado by taking a few moments to sign this petttion. Please share it and ask your family and friends to do so too. Thank you!

On the 18th of June in the late afternoon Andrés Guardado was shot 7 times by sheriffs who pointed out guns to Andres who was working at the auto body shop as a Security Guard. He had been working for to monitor and avoid vandalism of the business. When the cops pulled up on him he ran for his life since he was in fear for his life. Rather than deescalating the problem they decided to shoot him SEVEN TIMES AS HE FEARED FOR HIS LIFE. They stated they were warning shots, one shot is a warning not SEVEN. Nonetheless they did not have a reason to shoot he was an unarmed security guard and complied with the orders. He went on his knees and was then shot since they stated he had a firearm which is false he did not carry one nor was allowed to hold a firearm. The owner saw it all and has also explained his part and what he witnessed which was completely different to what the Sheriff Deputies stated. The Los Angeles Sheriffs Dept have portrayed Andrés Guardado as a criminal when in reality he has no criminal background. They also tampered with 6 surveillance cameras to hide their dirty work, that’s not the worst of it they held the investigation on hold so nobody would access any evidence. This is completely unacceptable especially coming from the force that is here to protect and serve, absolutely disgusting. Andrés Guardado was my childhood friend and we grew up in the same apartment building that my family still resides in since I was 7 and he was 3 years old He was 18 years old and left behind a loving family, a full time student and a employee of two jobs with no criminal background. He was always helpful around the neighborhood and always cared for his family first. Everybody is mourning his death from his family to his friends to even the small business owners in the block we grew up in. Andres was a hardworking kid who was not allowed to live the life that was just starting to begin. Please sign the petition and share it, we need this publicized. We hope to achieve the video shared to the public of both surveillance and the Sheriffs’ body cameras, a public service announcement by the Mayor Of Gardena and Los Angeles, and also a thorough independent investigation of the situation and hold accountable and file charges against every single sheriff involved in the murder. We must not stay silent and express our intolerance of this abuse of authority! We will continue until justice is served! #JUSTICEFORANDRESGUARDADO
